There is no known cure, but symptoms can be managed very effectively by returning for a safari every year. Thankfully Botswana has such a wide variety of experiences waiting for you to try that we should be able to keep this affliction at bay.

Finally back home! We had an amazing 3 weeks in Namibia and Botswana.
The trip with Master and all others was totally wonderful. Of course it was a shame that the water was so low, but that’s Life. Your crew did all they could (and then some more) to make our 3 days in the Delta memorable – and they succeeded. As you said, Master is a great tracker (and I’m a pretty good one in the woods and mountains of Europe, so I can tell) – but also Shadrack is not only good on the water but also has a very keen eye on the land 🙂
Food was good, tents were good, and we had a lot of luck spotting … just about all wildlife except the elusive leopard (whose footprints were only too clear close to the camp).
We also felt so lucky to have our own private safari and we would also like to thank you for that. While we wouldn’t have minded to share the tour with other people, being able to go on game drives at our own pace and having the whole staff looking after us was a luxury we did not expect, so thank you very much for that.
We will certainly recommend you to our friends and family, and we hope to come back to Botswana in the near future.
Special thanks go to our guide, Master. He is a true professional, and his knowledge and expertise amazed us more than once. Thanks to him, we had the opportunity to see lions, wild dogs, and many other fascinating animals in the Moremi Game Reserve. His ability to track wildlife and share stories about their habits made every moment of the safari exciting and full of discoveries.
Lazy River camp is the place where you can truly feel the spirit of the wild, all while knowing that nothing will be lacking. If you’re looking for an unforgettable safari in a great atmosphere – I highly recommend it!
