2 Nights Nxai Pan & Baines Baobabs

A short safari from Maun to Nxai Pan National Park, combining open grassland game viewing with a visit to the iconic Baines Baobabs.

Overview

This three-day (two-night) safari departs Maun in the morning and travels to Nxai Pan National Park. Game drives focus on the wide open plains and seasonal wildlife concentrations, with time set aside for a picnic stop at Baines Baobabs before returning to Maun.

Itinerary Summary

Day 1: Maun to Nxai Pan
Pickup from your accommodation in Maun at approximately 08:00. Drive to Nxai Pan National Park, arriving at the gate around 11:00 and into camp at approximately 13:00. Afternoon game drive after lunch through to sunset.

Day 2: Nxai Pan
Early to late-morning game drive. Mid-afternoon to sunset game drive.

Day 3: Baines Baobabs and Return to Maun
Early morning game drive, followed by a picnic lunch at Baines Baobabs. Depart Baines at approximately 13:00 and return to Maun at around 17:00.

Accommodation & Camp Style

Accommodation is in en-suite dome tents with comfortable bedrolls and linen on stretcher beds. Each tent includes a bedside table with lantern and a private bathroom enclosure attached at the rear with shower and toilet. Towel and soap are provided.
