Overview
This five-night safari begins with a scenic helicopter transfer from Maun into the Okavango Delta, where you spend two nights exploring the waterways and islands of this unique ecosystem. Activities include mokoro excursions and guided Delta experiences.
The safari then continues with three nights in Moremi Game Reserve, combining game drives across floodplains and woodland habitats with a boating excursion from Xakanaxa.
A visit to Elephant Havens Wildlife Foundation is included en route to Moremi.
Accommodation & Experience
During your two nights in the Okavango Delta, accommodation is in en-suite meru tents set in a remote Delta environment. Days combine water-based exploration with time to relax in camp.
In Moremi Game Reserve, your mobile camp is positioned within wildlife-rich areas, allowing for extended morning and afternoon game drives. A boating excursion from Xakanaxa provides a different perspective of the reserve’s waterways and birdlife.
This itinerary balances access, activity and comfort without rushing the experience.
Itinerary Summary
Day 1–2: Okavango Delta
Pickup in Maun at approximately 14:45, connecting with your scheduled helicopter transfer into the Delta. Two nights in en-suite meru accommodation with mokoro excursions and guided Delta activities.
Day 3: Transfer to Moremi
Morning activity followed by road transfer to Moremi Game Reserve, including a visit to Elephant Havens Wildlife Foundation.
Day 4–5: Moremi Game Reserve
Game drives across floodplains and woodland habitats, together with a boating excursion from Xakanaxa.
Day 6: Return to Maun
Morning activity followed by road transfer back to Maun, arriving at approximately 16:00.
